How are you enjoying the new year so far? My new year has been going quite well. I’ve been getting great news and results during my cancer journey, so I definitely have no complaints. I’m just so thankful to God, because I know He is the reason for pulling me through it all.
This outfit is one that I wore for Valentine’s Day. The pink or shall I say mauve colored off shoulder corset top represented my “V” Day. It was one of my Valentine’s Day gifts. The capri jeans are old jeans that I could no longer wear due to me gaining weight some years ago. Since being diagnosed with Leukemia, I’ve lost 46 pounds, and now I’m able to wear them again. I love mixing older clothes with the new ones. Especially when older clothes still look good. That also makes it easy on my budget.
I wanted to add some funk to my outfit, so I decided to wear these funky snake tall boots – wide calf, wide width. These boots are so awesome. If you’ve been following my blog, you know I did a post wearing the black and white ones. Being that I fell in love with the black and white boots; I went back and bought these brown ones while they were still on sale for $19.99.
When I first saw these boots, they were $74.99. So yes, I had to snatch up both colors.
Fabs, I just gotta mention my DIY Jean Choker Necklace. This was the easiest thing I have ever made in my life and it turned out so cute. I’m so proud. I will be doing a post on how I made it in a few days.
So what do you think of this choker necklace and snake tall boots paired with the off shoulder corset top? Let me know in comments.
